Christian Simmons, MD, PhD

Christian Simmons, M.D./Ph.D., is an Arkansas native who completed general surgery residency at UAMS in 2017 and achieved board certification the same year.  He spent 2018 as an Instructor of Vascular Surgery performing endovascular and dialysis access procedures.  He then completed Vascular Fellowship at UAMS prior to spending 2 ½ years there as faculty.  He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society as well as recognized amongst Little Rock’s Top Docs in 2022 with rising star distinction in Vascular Surgery.  He is now one of the founding partners of Arkansas Vascular and Vein Specialists, PLLC.  Dr. Simmons’ clinical interests are focused on the endovascular and open treatment of diseases of the aorta, carotid arteries, peripheral arterial and venous systems, and placement as well as maintenance of vascular dialysis access.
